Rare Disease Day is a global movement dedicated to raising awareness and honoring the 300 million people worldwide living with a rare disease, half of them children. Each year, communities come together to stand with families navigating rare diagnoses and to remind them they are supported.
Join us for Rare Disease Day at SouthPark Mall on Saturday, February 28, from 9 AM - 3 PM for a family-friendly event with the Ward’s Foundation team and our partners at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.
Meet us in the atrium near the escalators to enjoy getting your face painted, jazzing up your arm with a glitter tattoo, listening to your favorite book in our storytime area, caring for a zebra in our stuffed animal clinic, and taking a photo with Ziggy the Zebra!
